Source Management Overview

What is Source Management?

Source Management is where you create and manage API credentials for integrations. Every external system that connects to your gateway needs a “source” with appropriate credentials.

Accessing Source Management:

Navigate to Control Panel > Source Management

Why Multiple Sources?

You may have multiple integrations:

  • WooCommerce website (needs API key)
  • Mobile app (needs tokenization key)
  • Custom software (needs API key)
  • Third-party accounting system (needs API key)
  • QuickBooks integration (needs specific permissions)

Each integration gets its own source for:

  • Security (if one is compromised, disable just that one)
  • Tracking (know which integration processed each transaction)
  • Permission control (limit what each integration can do)
