Nested Modifiers

Nested modifiers are modifiers that prompt for additional choices. For example, selecting “Baked Potato” as a side prompts for butter, sour cream, and bacon bits.

Setup Process:

1. Create the sub-modifier items (e.g., Butter, Sour Cream, Bacon Bits)
2. Create a new Modifier Group containing those sub-items (e.g., “Baked Potato Choice”)
3. Open the parent modifier item (Baked Potato) and under Nested Modifiers, associate the new group
4. Save. When the parent modifier is selected on the register, it will automatically prompt for the nested choices.
